Body hair transplant is the process of extraction of hair from beard and chest for best and dense hair transplant results for our patients. With increasing demands to cover the advanced grades of the baldness like grade 6 and grade 7, body hair are the next resources to tap for.
It is also indicated for patients having weak donor hair on their head’s back region. In these patients, body hair can become the source of several thousand grafts, especially when they have a high amount of body hair at their disposal. This donor area is then used to fill the less denser area of head where the transplant is required. Body Hair Transplantation also comes handy in cases of loss of hair due to burns or hereditary hair loss.
Body hairs are removed using the FUE technique, leaving no linear scar. Body hair grafts are then implanted in the same way as grafts of head hair.
